2023 年 9 月 12 日,成立于香港的NYBL Technology Limited时尚科技 AI 技术公司与上海交通大学计算机应用研究所,宣布双方进行合作,进一步高效的推动「Fashion Tech」AI 算法的高效迭代训练。本次合作双方在行业knowhow、算法优化、模型训练所需的数据共享等方面进行共享与协作,推动时尚行业在设计,打版到生产以及成衣展示等整个流程的科技赋能。
September 12, 2023 —NYBL Technology Limited announced a research partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)Institute of Computer Applications Research. This cooperation is aimed to further enhance the efficient technology iteration and training of "Fashion Tech" AI Model. In this collaboration, both parties will engage in knowledge sharing, algorithm optimization, and data sharing required for model training, aiming to drive technological empowerment in the fashion industry throughout the entire process from design and pattern-making to production and garment display.
时装行业正在经历科技升级的深刻变革当中,在数字化技术的驱动下,一件时装从构想到成衣的整个流程在不断加速,消费者可以更快的得到新的款式和更多的选择。所以通俗来讲,每一件服装的背后都充满了“科技与狠活”。“有大数据的地方就可以有 AI”,NYBL 创始人李亦非认为“通过 NYBL 在对时尚行业长期的积累,发现利用 AI 可以快速提高时尚行业的 SKU 的产出,这里我们所指的 SKU 不仅仅是设计,而且还附带生产加工所需的一切必要信息,例如服装板片,花色,材质,缝线等等工业数据。所以大量生成设计品类并无缝对接生产才是 AI 一站式提高时尚产业整体效率的关键。”
The fashion industry is currently undergoing a profound transformation driven by technological advancements. With the help of digital technologies, the entire process of creating a fashion garment, from ideology to the final product, is accelerating, allowing consumers to access new styles and a wider range of choices more quickly. In simple terms, behind every piece of clothing lies the high- tech innovation. "Where there is big data, there can be AI," says Li Yifei, the founder of NYBL, "Through NYBL's long-term accumulation in the fashion industry, we have discovered that AI can rapidly increase the output of fashion industry SKUs. Here, when we refer to SKUs, it not only includes design, but also all the necessary information for production and processing, such as garment sewing patterns, colors, materials, and stitching. Therefore, the key to AI's ability to enhance overall efficiency in the fashion industry lies in the seamless integration of generating a large number of design categories and connecting them seamlessly with production."

With the support of technologies like AI and AR, many fashion designs no longer need to be physically produced as garments. Instead, they can exist in the form of digital clothing, which can be virtually worn by real users or digital avatars. This allows for the creation of videos or photos, enriching users' digital wardrobes and reducing the environmental impact of physical production. Additionally, the 3D rendering of clothing design files enables users to preview how the garments will look on them and understand the fit and sizing before placing an order. The collaboration between the Department of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and NYBL presents a unique opportunity to apply various deep learning algorithms to AI models in fashion technology. This partnership aims to train an efficient artificial intelligence technology collection, ultimately driving the fashion industry to become faster and more efficient. “交大电院计算机系一直以来都是国际人工智能研究水平一流的科研队伍,并非常注重 AI 在行业中的实际应用。NYBL 非常高兴能够和上海交大计算机系的学者在时尚领域对 AI 模型训练方面进行合作。”NYBL 创始人李亦非介绍说,“本次合作所涉及到的 AI 算法较为多元,从输入端进入大模型,到最终得到结果要经历相当多的变换以及算法才能实现较好的输出结果。每一个步骤如有卡顿则会导致整个模型的失败,也就是木桶原理,我们的技术集合不能有短板。虽然我们的整体框架是深度学习,但是其中要用到的分支非常多,这里包括 CNN,RNN,LSTM,ATT 等。每一个大的算法框架下还要找到合适的 layers 的划分以及监督方法,在这方面有了交大的协助无疑可以让模型的训练以惊人的速度进化。我们期待双方在学术发现和实际应用中取得丰硕的成果。
