Who we are looking for
We are looking for a talented and personable Growth Manager with experience in closing B2B deals. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguity and has excelled at working on a deeply technical product. You’re experienced in collaborating cross-functionally, running point on key deals, managing a book of business, and building a playbook for the future. You’re adept at listening to and engaging with our users, and you have the know-how to navigate technical discussions.
In this role, you'll:
- Identify and qualify sales leads and develop them into high-value opportunities.
- Develop creative messaging strategies to best reach our new B2B customers
- Drive a pipeline generation cadence to develop expansion opportunities from our existing customer base and land new target accounts
- Manage those opportunities through the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation through to close and post-sales
- Build relationships and establish communications with your accounts to understand their needs and priorities, and to speed up and simplify the deal process
- Collaborate cross functionally within Dune from Pre-Sales through to working with Customer Success
- Keep our CRM up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of opportunities on pre-committed revenue deals
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve our product roadmap
- Lead compelling demonstrations of Dune’s product and vision to a broad range of audiences
- Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles (incl. Engineering, Product, Legal, Developer Relations and Customer Success)
About you. You'll bring:
- A successful track record in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and exceeding your quota
- 8+ years of Account Executive/ Sales experience with a highly technical product, with an emphasis on developer tools, databases, and/or business intelligence
- A solution-based approach to selling with experience working within ambiguity and the ability to manage a complex sales process.
- A collaborative approach to working with internal teams within Dune, communicating the needs of the customer clearly and effectively
- SQL experience preferred
- Excellent presentation and listening skills, organization, and contact management capabilities. A hands-on approach to learning technical concepts and leading technical discussions with stakeholders of all levels
- Participate in the development of our sales process, the articulation of our value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets.
